Spices
A spice is a seed, fruit, root, bark, or other plant substance primarily used for its flavoring, coloring or preserving food.
BIRD EYE CHILLI (Capsicum annuum)
The bird's eye chilli is one of the distinguished cultivar-groups of Capsicum annuum. It is small but is quite hot (piquant). The bird's eye chilli plant is a perennial with small, tapering fruits, often two or three, at a node. These are used as a spice for seasoning and stimulating the appetite as well as used in local medicine especially for herbal practitioners.
TURMERIC FINGER/BULB (Curcuma Longa L)
Turmeric is also called “the golden spice” and a relative of ginger, this vivid yellow-orange spice is common in Indian, Southeast Asian, and Middle Eastern cooking.
